Season 1 of the Music History Podcast – Now Available!

I’m happy to announce the release of Season 1 of the Music History Podcast, now available on Soundcloud, Google Play and iTunes.

This season takes a very general look at some of the most popular genres, and people that helped shape American music. We start with Robert Johnson, and the legend that he sold his soul to the devil, and wrap with the legacy (if there is one) of punk rock and its culture.

Season 1 is 6 episodes long, running around 15-20 minutes each. The episodes, in order, are:

Did Robert Johnson Sell His Soul to the Devil?

The Early Female Rock Pioneers

The Birthplace of Country Music, Bristol?

Motown Records: Hitsville U.S.A.

How Gospel Influenced Modern American Music

The Legacy of Punk Rock

All episode links take you to Soundcloud where you can stream, or download to listen to on demand!

I want to give a special thanks to all of the guests who helped make season 1 so entertaining. Each guest and episode will be featured in future blog posts, so check back soon for more updates.
